I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing therapy in Pleasanton, California. Originally from Pennsylvania, I graduated with a Master's degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My educational background is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy practices.
In my work experiences I have found it useful to also utilize a psychodynamic approach, mindfulness, and play therapy (with children). My most recent experience has been working with families affected by trauma. Trauma varies based on the individual, therefore I have seen a range of mental health symptoms and their causes.
I have worked with young adults and adolescent aged clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and high risk behaviors. I prefer to approach each client with an individual approach through building rapport and establishing goals that promote personal growth.
It is my goal to provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere for clients to let go of personal judgments and own who they are.
